- Amazon Introduces Nokia-Powered Maps Tool Amazon will be ditching Google Maps for their own, Nokia-powered map solution for the Kindle Fire. The service is invitation-only at the moment, but it looks likes Kindle Fire users will be able to experience an in-house maps service soon with most of the features of Google Maps, including satellite imagery and custom overlays.
